THE ART OF CHANGE

WHAT IT IS....

HOW DO WE GET IT…

environment
perception
money
education

Since the existence of the organization in late 2005 we have always found a way to give back to our customers and our friends. We have collaborated with organizations such as the NAACP, SGA (University of Tennessee at Chattanooga)
and Greek lettered fraternal organizations in Memphis and Chattanooga, TN.  Recently we decided to organize a Social Responsibility Project in collaboration with collegiate organizations.  This collaboration will allow us to offer student leaders an opportunity to work with local small business leaders, bring adults together to discuss real life issues, and provide encouragement using entertainment mediums.

The Forum will be held at Lemonye Owen College Gymnasium Wednesday Sept. 1st at 6:30pm

Cheryl Yarbro, Shelby County Office of Preparedness interim manager of operations, welcomed the crowd and explained the basics of the “Hazard Mitigation Grant Program” or HMGP.

This grant program, Yarbro explained, administered by the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency, allows citizens to voluntarily apply for their flood-prone properties to be purchased if they meet specific criteria.
