Arsonist strikes in South Memphis
(WMC-TV) - Investigators are searching for the arsonist who burned a vacant South Memphis home early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters could see flames coming from the home at 384 McLemore Ave. as they made the scene around 4:30 a.m.
The fire was intentionally set inside the house, according to investigators.
The home suffered nearly $14,000 in damage.
Anyone with information that could help investigators catch the person responsible for the fire should call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH.
