FedEx donates $375,000 to Women’s Foundation | Business

The Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis has announced that FedEx has awarded them $375,000 to help fund the Clearborn Homes revitalization project. The money will provide Community Supportive Services (CSS) to the project to create an environment of economic self-sufficiency.

The CSS Clearborn program fosters 400 families, many led only by single mothers. The program will provide services including employment preparation, health services and early childhood development programs. The support services are only part of the larger project to help revitalize Clearborn Homes. They hope to follow the success in the recent revitalizations of University Place and Legends Park.

The Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis provides support to local women and children and has encouraged women to help build stronger communities.
