The Tennessee Titans have announced they will honor Whitehaven High football coach Rodney Saulsberry as 2012 Titans High School coach of the year!
That means Titans owner Bud Adams will give the Whitehaven football program $2,000.
“Everything about Coach Saulsberry is positive, and I not only respect him for what he does on the field but what he does in classroom and as a man," said Whitehaven High School principal Dr. Vincent Hunter.
"Coach is of great character and has surrounded himself with a great coaching staff, and it has been a total team effort," said Dr. Hunter.
On Saturday, Dec. 30, at 10:45 a.m. prior to the Titans-Jaguars game in Nashville - Coach Saulsberry will be recognized along with the 10 weekly 2012 Titans “Coach of the Week” winners.
