Man paid with pizza for help in robbery | Crime
(WMC-TV) - A Memphis man told police he was paid in pizza for helping to hold up a pair of delivery drivers.
Memphis police records show Tony Hamer and an accomplice threatened to shoot a pizza delivery person on Southern Avenue if the person didn't turn over the money and the food.
When police took Hamer into custody, he told them he was the lookout for the second suspect and received three slices of pizza for helping with the crime.
Hamer also told police that he had helped rob another pizza delivery person in the 3200 block of Spottswood recently.
