Hickory Hill Gets General Session Court Clerk's Office

The Shelby County General Sessions Court Clerk’s Office has opened a new satellite location in Hickory Ridge Mall for your convenience. The office will offer various services such as paying traffic tickets, expungements, levies, civil lawsuits, evictions, motions, garnishments, bad checks, appeals, payments, paying court fines, subpeonas, court dates, posting cash bonds, suspended licenses, and other services.

Office hours are 8am until 4:15pm Monday through Friday. You can contact the office at the following address:

Man charged with shooting SUV driver to death

A 25-year-old man has been charged with gunning down the driver of an SUV Jan. 15.

Rodney Braden was charged with first degree murder Wednesday and is scheduled to go to court later this month.

Police say an argument in the 600 block of East McLemore ended when one person was stabbed to death.

Investigators say the unidentified, male victim was arguing with a woman moments before he was attacked on Wednesday, Jan. 26.

Police need help solving deadly Sunday shooting

Memphis police need your help catching the gunman behind a deadly shooting near Marjorie and Rosewood Sunday evening.

Investigators say 27-year-old Marcello Carter was killed while riding in an SUV that was traveling south on Marjorie. Police say the driver of the 1997 Chevrolet Blazer crashed into a ditch when the gunfire erupted.
