Power line causes house fire | News
(WMC-TV) – An electrical fire caused $20,000 in damage at a house in the 290 block of West Essex Ave., Saturday.
Investigators say the fire started when an outside power line shorted.
The fire was reported just after 11 a.m. and crews were able to extinguish the flames in about 15 minutes.
No one was injured during the flames, but the home did suffer fire, smoke and water damage.
