Police: 19-year-old shot after gun went off | News
(WMC-TV) – Memphis police were called to Methodist South Hospital just after 11 o’clock Wednesday night because a shooting victim was being treated by doctors.
Officers found out that two men, a 19 and 21-year-old, were in a home in the 4000 block of Shirley when the 21-year-old laid his gun down and it went off.
Investigators say the bullet hit the 19-year-old in the jaw.
The 21-year-old and a 16-year-old witness are being questioned.
Police say there was also a younger child inside the home at the time.
