Grandmother upset after thieves steal Christmas presents
MEMPHIS, TN- (WMC-TV) - One South Memphis great grandmother has some strong words for the thieves who broke into her house and stole many of her Christmas gifts.
"What would I tell them? You're gonna lose more than you gain. God does not like ugliness," Foster says.
One week ago, Foster said she was sitting inside her hoME on Ridgeway Street.
Around 2 p.m., she heard a noise.
"I think when they broke the glass and I heard them, by the time I got up and went back there, they'd put the board back up there," she said.
Foster has now replaced that board with another window.
But she says it appears as though her security alarm was not enough to stop the thieves from coming back.
Foster and her great grandchildren left and came back around 7 p.m. that night.
That is when her grandson noticed the girls' Christmas gifts were missing.
