At least two football players from right here in the Mid-South will be in the Super Bowl.
Morgan Cox lives in Collierville in the off-season with his wife.
His father Wright Cox, community president of BankTennessee, commented after the Ravens won the AFC Championship game, “Words cannot express the excitement we are feeling today. It’s unbelievable!”
He is a long snapper for the Baltimore Ravens.
Michael Oher plays left tackle, he's another Mid-Southerner who plays for the Ravens.
First there was Briarcrest High School, then Ole Miss, and now the Super Bowl-bound Baltimore Ravens.
He is well known not just for his accomplishments in football.
